Meet the Hosts

Stella Bangura’s role as a host will undoubtedly add excitement and professionalism to the show. An award-winning TV presenter, media entrepreneur, and communications expert, Stella is the founder & CEO of On the Spot Limited, a leading branding, communications, and media production firm. She is also the Executive Producer and host of On the Spot with Stella, a talk show known for its thought-provoking conversations with industry leaders, broadcast in both Sierra Leone and Nigeria.

With over a decade of experience in media, Stella has graced both radio and television screens, serving as Director of Operations and Director of Administration & Branding at AYV Media Empire, where she also co-hosted Wake Up Sierra Leone. Her engaging presence and confident delivery have made her a respected media personality beyond Sierra Leone’s borders.

A sought-after MC, breast cancer advocate, and former beauty queen, Stella has proudly represented Sierra Leone on international stages. Her contributions to the media industry have earned her several prestigious awards, including Best Female TV Personality of the Year (NEA), and recognition among the 50 Most Influential Sierra Leonean Women and the 100 Most Influential Young Leaders in Africa.

Petros Dalton as one of the hosts. Petros, a Sierra Leonean-born but American-raised multi-talented personality, brings a wealth of experience to the show. He is a pastor, professional writer, vocalist, instrumentalist, sensational TV host, producer, and event scriptwriter. His passion for music and entertainment has earned him several awards, and he has hosted high-profile events both locally and internationally.

Petros is also the founder of Vocal Drift Inspire, Sierra Leone’s premier reality TV solo singing competition. As a TV presenter for Gospel Playlist and Vocal Drift Inspire on AYV, he is no stranger to hosting major talent shows. His experience in the music industry, combined with his ability to engage and inspire, makes him the perfect choice to guide contestants through their journey in the Sierra Leone Talent Search.

Meet Our Judges

 Joseph Sedu Koroma, popularly known as Nashito Kulala. A multi-award-winning music producer, entertainment executive, and industry consultant, Nashito brings a wealth of experience to the competition. With a career that started in 2011, he gained widespread recognition for his iconic production on Kao Denero’s “Back 2 My Roots” album in 2012, which earned international acclaim.

Between 2013 and 2019, Nashito Kulala won six Producer of the Year awards, making him Sierra Leone’s most decorated music producer. He is the first producer to win the award three times in a row (2013-2015). His work spans across some of the biggest names in music, including Drizilik, Yung Sal, Kao Denero, Star Zee, Markmuday, LAJ, Empress P, Terry G, Davido, Ice Prince, Samini, Atumpan, and Yung6ix.

Beyond production, Nashito has played a crucial role in youth empowerment. He was appointed as a Youth Ambassador in 2018 by the Ministry of Youth and was recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Youths for his impact in the creative industry. In 2019, he became the first global ambassador of Techfrica and co-launched Audiofrica, a music streaming app in Sierra Leone.

Now, as a judge for the Sierra Leone Talent Search, Nashito Kulala will be instrumental in shaping the future of young artists, helping them navigate the music industry with his expertise. His talent management agency, Kulala Management Group, is already dedicated to artist discovery and development, making him a perfect fit for this competition.

Kate Krontiris will bring her deep musical expertise and global perspective to the show. An American singer-songwriter based in Sierra Leone, Kate is known for her folk orchestral sound, blending layered vocal harmonies with poignant storytelling. Some of her work incorporates Afrobeats, brass band, and funk influences, making her a unique figure in Sierra Leone’s music scene. She is also the co-founder of Telem Uncommon Sounds, an initiative that supports and showcases innovative musicians in Freetown.

Kate’s background in music extends far beyond Sierra Leone. She has performed internationally, including as a participant in the Global Musicians Workshop, an initiative founded by Yo-Yo Ma to foster cross-cultural understanding through music. She was also part of the Berklee at the Gnaoua and World Music Festival in 2024, performing alongside members of Telem Uncommon Sounds.

Beyond music, Kate is an accomplished facilitator, strategist, and researcher, having worked with global organizations such as Google, Facebook, and the U.S. Digital Service under President Barack Obama. Her expertise in leadership and organizational development brings a unique dynamic to the Sierra Leone Talent Search, ensuring that contestants not only showcase their musical abilities but also gain valuable insights into the industry.

 

Judah Zubairu, a renowned gospel singer, songwriter, and vocal coach with years of experience in the music industry. With multiple awards to his name—both in Sierra Leone and internationally—Judah has built a reputation as a top-tier artist and mentor.

Since 2013, he has headlined concerts and conferences across Sierra Leone and beyond. His talent and dedication have earned him awards such as the WavePlus Gambian Award for Best International Gospel Artist, SLAAM Award for Sierra Leone’s Best Gospel Artist, and the Next Heirs Award for Best Entertainer. He has also shared the stage with global gospel stars like Sinach, Joe Mettle, GUC, and Sunmisola Agbebi.

Beyond performing, Judah is a dedicated mentor. As a vocal coach, he has been training and guiding young musicians through seminars and workshops since 2017, helping thousands of artists develop their skills. He also leads a music ministry called “The Worshippers Tribe”, spreading gospel music across communities. His “Jesus Live School Tour” has taken him to schools across Sierra Leone, where he shares the gospel and inspires students through music.

Judah is no stranger to music competitions. He was the principal judge for Sierra Leone’s first-ever hit TV solo singing competition, “Vocal Drift Inspire,” and has served as a judge in other singing contests. His experience, combined with his background in mass communication and public relations from the University of Makeni, makes him a valuable addition to the Sierra Leone Talent Search judging panel

Antonia Howard brings a wealth of experience in media, communications, and the arts. She has spent over a decade in journalism and broadcasting, reporting both locally and internationally. She was the Director of News & Current Affairs at AYV and worked with the BBC as a freelance journalist. In 2022, she was even shortlisted for the prestigious BBC Komla Dumor Award for her commitment to authentic African storytelling.

Beyond journalism, Antonia has a strong connection to music and performance. She studied at the Ballanta Academy of Music from the age of six, earning certifications in Piano and Music Theory from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She has also trained in singing, traditional dance, and theatre, and was a founding member of the Music & Music Entertainment Band (MME), performing live in Freetown for two years.

Her deep understanding of both music and storytelling makes her the perfect judge for the Sierra Leone Talent Search.

Olatuga Moses Oluwatosin, popularly known as Top Boy Mozarti. He is a well-respected music executive, strategist, and promoter who has played a key role in shaping the Nigerian music industry.

With over a decade of experience, Top Boy Mozarti has worked with top artists and producers like Masterkraft, Skales, Ceeza Milli, CDQ, Ice Prince, Yung Alpha, and Zlatan Ibile. His work has helped many artists gain international recognition. In Sierra Leone, he is best known for helping The Therapist achieve a breakthrough with the hit song “Nack”, under Sho Cole’s Cribs International label.

Recently, he celebrated another major achievement as his talent, Yung Alpha, won a Grammy Award for his work on Chris Brown’s 11:11 album, where he produced the track “Hmmm” featuring Davido.

Before becoming a leading name in the music industry, Top Boy Mozarti started as a blogger in 2010 with Olosho360, which later evolved into Udeytry Media—a powerhouse in music promotion, artist management, and public relations. His media company has helped many young talents rise to international fame.

 

Michael Uzoma Onyii, popularly known as Legend—a renowned Nigerian singer, songwriter, and sound engineer. His incredible talent and contributions have shaped African music, earning him respect as a top-tier lyricist and composer.

As the official composer for Masterkraft, Legend has been instrumental in creating hit songs for leading artists, including Boii, Drizilik, Jelly Bee, The Therapist, and Markmudday. His unique songwriting style and deep understanding of music have influenced both the Nigerian and Sierra Leonean music industries.

Now, as a judge for Sierra Leone Talent Search, Legend brings a wealth of experience and a sharp ear for originality. He is not only looking for talent but also mentoring young artists, helping them refine their artistry, and preparing them for the global stage.
